The season will come to a close for Texas Tech Saturday night as the Red Raiders will be on the road to take on the No. 2-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Nebraska Coliseum in Lincoln, Neb.

Tech (7-21, 1-18) is coming off a tough 3-0 loss to Kansas in the United Spirit Arnena in its last match. Tech had leads midway through two of the three games, but the Jayhawks put a damper on the Red Raiders' senior night festivities with crucial runs in each game to pick up the victory. Senior Amy Gandy, sixth in school history in kills, led the team with 13 kills on .414 hitting in addition to four blocks. Fellow Senior Alicia Ostmeyer knocked down 10 kills of her own to go with four blocks. Sophomore Jenn Harrell moved into 12 th place for the most digs in a season in school history with 16. She also tied a career-best four service aces.

The Huskers (26-1, 18-1) have lost just one match this season, a 3-0 setback to No. 3 Texas on Oct. 24. Nebraska is coming off a 3-0 sweep of Baylor in its last outing Wednesday. Coach John Cook is in his eighth season at the helm of the Huskers. They are led by reigning AVCA/CSTV National Player of the Year Sarah Pavan, who leads the conference in kills at 4.90 per game. Middle Blocker Tracy Stalls leads the Big 12 in hitting at .455 and anchors the Husker defense with 1.09 blocks per game.

First serve is set for 7 p.m. CST.
