2008 (Sophomore)
The Houston, Texas, product and tallest Red Raider led all Tech pitchers in appearances (38), wins (10), complete games (11), strikeouts (93) and innings pitched (181.0) while holding the lowest ERA on the staff at 2.55 for the year...Was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for April 9 after picking up two wins while pitching 11.2 shutout innings and leading Tech to its first-ever season sweep of Nebraska...Had a string of 22.2 consecutive shutout innings from March 29 to April 8...Threw a complete game, giving up just four hits against Arizona State at the UNLV Spring Tournament...Against Washington in the Lobo Invitational, threw a complete game allowing just one earned run and striking out five...Threw four shutout innings allowing just three hits to pick up her first win of the season against the College of Charleston...Struck out four in four innings of work to help Tech to a win over Maine at the Hawai'i Spring Fling Tournament...Threw four shutout innings while striking out three against North Carolina in Hawai'i...Threw complete game while allowing just one earned run and striking out three against UTEP...Against Kansas, threw a complete game giving up just one run, that of the unearned variety...Dominated the Cornhuskers over the first first weekend in April as described earlier... Allowed just three base runners while striking out three in the complete shutout in the first game against the Huskers...Pitched 4.1 innings, including all three extra frames, while striking out three to help Tech complete the sweep...Stymied a tough Texas State team by throwing six shutout innings and striking out six while giving up just two hits to pick up the win...pitched a career-high nine innings, giving up only two runs against Oklahoma...Matched that by throwing nine innings against UT Arlington...Threw complete game while striking out five to help Tech upset Missouri in the Big 12 Tournament.

2007 (Freshman)
It wasn't the 204.2 innings she pitched during the course of the season or the fact that she won 17 games (2nd-best all time for a Tech pitcher in a season, and good enough to already rank her in a tie for 5th all-time [with Losleben] on the all-time list), it was the fact that she threw 400 pitches over 29 hours against some of the nation's most potent offenses at the Big 12 Championships that had journalists scratching their own bleary eyes as they counted ... She finished with 152 strikeouts--good enough to land her as No. 6 on Tech's all-time list, and she was among the nation's leaders in wins for most of the year until a bad team stretch to begin the conference season stalled her win numbers.

High School
Played softball at Cypress Creek High School in Houston (with teammate Patin for a time) ... Was District MVP her senior year and was a member of either first or second all district teams in her junior and sophomore years ... Finished 9th at Gold Nationals on her ASA team (Amateur Softball Association), Impact Gold in summer of 2005 ... Graduated Cum Laude.
