While overall production dropped from a solid freshman campaign, the sophomore provided a number of highlight moments and played an invaluable role as either a defensive standout at 1B, a pinch hitter or a pinch runner in Coach Wilson's style of game (play everyone and use your bench often in key situations) ... Was 2-for-3 in win over Jacksonville and added a run ... Maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding average playing 1B ... Wilson often refers to her as one of the most game-knowledgeable players she has, will be looked on to help focus both veteran and younger players on various complexities of the game ... Earning first-team Academic All Big 12 honors the first year she was eligible (freshmen are not eligible), she mainains an honor roll grade point average.

Appeared in 30 games and tallied the team's highest batting average at .289 ... Singled in her first at-bat as a Red Raider, as did classmates Neuman, Shupp and Watkins ...
