Cowgirls Falter in Second Loss at Home

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women soccer team (1-3, Big 12 0-2) lost its second straight match up at home Sunday afternoon against Texas Tech (3-0, Big 12 2-0), 3-0.

Texas Tech scored in the first half with a crossing pass from Lizzy Biles to Jennifer Benat for the first of her two goals on the day. Benat's second goal was also off a crossing pass from teammate Kristi Frantz. Tech's third goal came in the second half, with a deflection off a defender in the goalie box. Frantz was their to kick the ball in the goal.

The Cowgirls will try to collect their first win in conference play against Colorado, Friday, September 12, at 4 p.m.
