LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team defeated two opponents- West Texas A&M and Abilene Christian Friday at Texas Tech's Athletic Training Center. The Red Raiders (2-1) first defeated West Texas A&M in the morning match 8-1 and then swept Abilene Christian 9-0 in the nightcap.

Among Texas Tech's two-match winners included senior Tylir Jimenez, sophomore Adam Baranowski and sophomore Carey Biorkman.

New Mexico State comes into Lubbock tomorrow to play Abilene Christian in a 9 a.m. match. On Sunday, Texas Tech hosts New Mexico State in the ATC. The match begins at 12:00 noon.
