The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Pittsburgh Panthers conclude their 2008 spring football season live in front of a national audience on the NFL Network.

"Spring Game Saturday" on NFL Network begins with the Texas Tech Red-Black game live at 11:00 AM ET from Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, TX. NFL Network will simulcast FOX 34 - MyLubbockTV's local broadcast featuring Drew Dougherty calling the game, with Chris Level serving as color analysts.

"We are extremely happy the NFL Network has agreed to broadcast our annual Red-Black spring football game," Texas Tech Director of Athletics Gerald Myers said. "This broadcast is a reward for the student-athletes and coaches that put in a lot of hard work to prepare for the 2008 season. We are excited to continue our relationship with the NFL Network that started with the 2006 Insight Bowl."

The Pitt Blue-Gold game follows live at 6:00 PM ET from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. NFL Network will simulcast WPCW's local Pittsburgh broadcast featuring Bob Pompeani calling the action, with Panthers head coach Dave Wannstedt providing color analysis.

"We are excited to announce that our spring football game will receive unprecedented television coverage this year," Pitt athletic director Steve Pederson said. "For those who can't make it to Heinz Field, the NFL Network and CW will provide our fans with a great sneak preview of the Panthers before training camp."

NFL Network airs nearly 200 football games annually including eight regular season NFL games, 52 preseason games, 98 game replays, Super Bowl and NFL Classics, plus the Insight Bowl, Texas Bowl and Senior Bowl. NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
