Lubbock, TX - The Texas Tech Red Raiders have their 16-game conference schedule in place for the 2007-2008 season.

The Red Raiders begin conference play at Oklahoma State on Saturday, January 12. The CBS telecast is set for 12:30 PM (CT).

Fifteen of the sixteen conference games are currently slated for national or regional television broadcasts with all eight home games and seven away games featured on national or regional telecasts. The Red Raiders will request to televise their February 20 game at Colorado on the Texas Tech Television Network.

During the conference portion of the 2007-2008 season, Texas Tech will play three Wednesday home games and they will have five Saturday home games. The Red Raiders will have three Wednesday away games and four Saturday road games. Additionally, the Raiders are at Kansas for their "Big Monday" appearance on March 3 at 8 PM on ESPN.

After the OSU season opener featured on CBS on January 12, the Red Raiders host Texas on March 1 on CBS.

ESPN will televise the February 2 home game against Oklahoma State and the "Big Monday" game at Kansas on March 3. ESPN2 will provide coverage from the United Spirit Arena for two games: Texas A&M (Jan. 16) and Kansas State (Feb. 13). ESPN Plus will televise four games from the United Spirit Arena: Missouri (Jan. 23), Oklahoma (Feb. 16), Iowa State (Feb. 23), and Baylor (Mar. 8). Four road games will be televised on ESPN Plus: at Oklahoma (Jan.19), at Texas (Jan. 26), at Nebraska (Feb. 9), and at Texas A&M (Feb. 27).

ESPNU will provide coverage for the Red Raider game at Baylor on February 6.

Red Raider head coach Bob Knight needs 10 victories to reach the 900-win mark. Coach Knight is 890-363 (.710) in 41 seasons as a head coach at the Division 1 level.

The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will take place in Kansas City, Missouri. The four-day, 11-game event will take place at the Sprint Center from March 13-16.
