FORT Worth, Texas--Texas Tech's baseball team came up with three runs in the top of the ninth against TCU on Tuesday, but they needed at least two more as they fell, 12-10 at the hands of the Horned Frogs.

Cade Allison took the mound for Texas Tech to open the game, surrendering seven runs, six earned, on five hits in less than three inninghs pitched.

Texas Tech, which had won the previous three meetings with TCU, was led offensively by Jason Landreth and Josh Bard, who combined for five hits and four RBI, as well as shortstop Junior Rodriguez, who was 2-for-5 with a homerun, his fourth of the year.

The Raiders four-game winning streak was snapped as a result of the loss and their record drops to 4-2. TCU improves to 3-3 on the year.
