2007 SEASON
Went to the hill 13 times in 2007 and all in relief...logged 22 2/3 innings and fnished the year with a 6.75 ERA...17 earned runs, 14 walks and 18 strikeouts...longest outings of the season were a pair of 3 2/3 inning games at Texas and at home against New Mexico...logged a season-high four strikeouts against the Longhorns on April 13.
2006
Finished the season with a 0-0 record and a 2.76 ERA...logged 16 1/3 innings all in relief...allowed earned runs and struckout nine...tallied a pair of two-inning appearances against Texas Arlington in the Midland College Classic and at Nebraska.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a multi-sport standout at Lubbock Cooper High School where he played football, basketball, baseball and ran track...baseball coach was Terry Baxter...his senior season the Pirates advanced to the UIL Regional Quarterfinals in a year that capped off three consecutive district titles...was a two-time All-District and All-City pitcher....his senior year he was named to the All-South Plains team as the Pitcher of the Year...had a combined record of 22-5 and averaged nine strikeouts per game.
