Earned All-Big 12 honors after finishing eighth at the Big 12 Championships with a distance of 58'-1.25".

2006 INDOOR: Threw the shot put in six meets this season ... opened by throwing a personal-best of 57'-0" at the Wes Kittley AllComers ... ended the season by marking a NCAA provisional throw of 59'-6.25" at the Big 12 Championships placing fourth, which was a personal best, a new school record and good for all-conference honors.

2005 OUTDOOR: Won the shot put at the UTEP Invitational with a personal-best and regional-qualifying toss of 57'-3" ... set a regional qualifying mark of 56'-1.25" in a second-place finish of the collegiate division of the Texas Relays ... had another regional qualifying throw of 56'-2.25" and finished third at the ASU Relays ... set a personal best in the discus at the UTEP Invitational with a throw of 150'-11".

2005 INDOOR: Threw a career-best 54'-3.75" in the shot put at the Tyson Invite ... marked a 52'-9.25" at the Wes Kittley All-Comers ... marked a toss of 52'-1.25" at the Big 12 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: 5A shot put state champion ... won the shot put at the Golden West Invitational ... all-district, all-state and All-American at Humble high school ... holds the high school and district record in the shot put ... ranked third in the Nation in the shot put with his mark of 66'-2.5" at the Great Southwest Meet.
